Any educators here implement this program?  If so how is it going?  How hard is it to start?

We're looking into it for our homeschool co-op... But it is not set up for anything but schools currently... Unfortunately, I am not the goto person on this...

However once you look into "the official equipment", you notice it's the Big Names of the ATA administered through the state DNR's... All in All it's not a bad program, but your state DNR or Fish and Wildlife Service should be able to provide you with all the info you need...

From my understanding, it is designed so that any teacher can attend the training and get the kids shooting...

Lots of luck

It is a great program, but very limited in equipmenmt. I coach 4H archery, which has a more diverse equipment usage, IE, Recurve or longbow, Barebow compound( same genesis used in NASP), and Hunter compound which is a regular compound set up with sighs and all the gadgets. Though I am strickly a trad shooter,I have a strong background in modern archery and can help in this as well. This allows kids to find their niche, and own shooting style that fits them. In our club most of the youth shoot all 3 classes and do well, winning trophies in several different classes. In a recent regional tournament, we took 21 kids, who brought home 53 trophies, 50 individuals and 3 -1st place for team in all 3 divisions! needles to say they were stoked and very enthused, making them want to get even more involved, and I beleive this is what it is all about. Might want to check into your state 4H program. Pm me if I can help.
