help needed with Gharing TD non-typical
« on: August 08, 2009, 08:48:00 PM »
I recently took ownership of a used Gharing 62" TD non-typical recurve. I have not been able to get information on this bow as the boyer has closed his shop, and the previous owner has not been responsive.
I was hoping that someone that had experience with this bow, and could help me understand the suggested brace height, string length and if this bow is fast flite compatible or not.
I need to buy a string for it and am anxious to start shooting and getting it tuned in.

I have sales literature from Jon Gharing. No where in it does it list the brace height.

Regarding non stretch strings. My literature was marked up with a red pen upon reciept. Under the Warranty section this statement was crossed off. "Warranty is void if a bow has had a non stretch less string on it."

Sorry I couldnt offer more help. BTW I would love to see some pics of your bow. I love those static limb tips.
