Thanks Stu for all your hard work.

Force - does it work? Yes. I know of no other program or spine chart(s) that even begins to address the effects/degree of centre-shot & how it relates to dynamic spine. Give it a try, YMMV.

It works very well. You may still have to "tweak" a little with your arrow but it does take a lot of tuning headaches out and gets you real close right off the bat.

It does work, but it is still a starting point.  There are so many other dynamics involved in individual form, equipment, etc.  Use it as a guide to get very close.

I cant get the dropdown menus to work to select arrow, bow type, string...

The rest seems to me functioning as far as I can tell, I know nothing about Excel.

The previous calculator was dead on for my Hill longbow. The most recent version shows a difference of 9 lbs for my doug fir wood shafts What am I missing?

Hello Canyon,
Most likely the GPI is off.  Double check it by weighing your total finished arrow weight and comparing it to the calculators weight.  They should be real close.  My D. Fir shafts rund about 13.5 to 14 GPI typically.  What numbers are you using?

Okay I got it!! I missed the Arrow diameter. Thanks Stu I am interested in trying to see how close this is for several other bows in the arsenal.

Westbrook I just had the same problem with the drop downs not working on my Mac with excel.

I have requested Stu to send me another copy of the program.  It may have gotten corrupted when I uploaded it to the server. MY FAULT I should have tested before posting.

All previous versions worked on both mac and windows

I just downloaded and tested the program at heilakka/stumiller

The program works fine using a Windows machine (XP PRO) with Microsoft Excel.

I have sent Stu an email regarding the Mac issue. All his previous versions worked on my Mac with office Excel.

FOR NOW ALL MAC users should continue to use VER 6-12-09
