I am shooting wensel woodsmans out to 35 yds with great grouping. This is the farthes I would shoot on game unless in a field. I shoot quiet a bit at 40, shoot good groups, but like to keep it closer for good retained energy. My 3 deer last year were 22, 10 and 17yds, and all fell in sight with ww broadheads! Since rehabing from shoulder surgery, I have shot slower, concentrated more on form and follow through, shoot about 60 shots a day instead of 100+ and am back up to #50. I am shooting the best I have ever shot, consistently, in my life. I walked out the other day, first shot at 40, second at 38, 3rd at 35, 30, 25, 22, and 20 for the last one. I could reach around all the shots with my 2 thumbs and forefingers, all with broadheads. This alone is a trophy for me after having extensive shoulder repair, still have a cable in my shoulder and arm bone, not knowing how I would be able to shoot afterwards. I am going to have a good year, no matter the outcome, seein lots of deer, working right by some blinds I made last year on a daily basis, com on Sept. 5th, woo hoo.
