Wyoming BIghorns Unit 38 info
« on: August 12, 2009, 11:58:00 AM »
Hey I drew my first elk tag and will be hunting in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming in unit 38. Anybody have any info on the area about possible places to hunt? I will be hunting out there September 12 through the 19th for sure and maybe some other days if I can squeeze some time off work.  I have been studying topo maps of the area and have located a few spots to try but any information on the area would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

There are a lot of good places in 38. It is a huge area. Places of interest might be the dryfork country though. I am not really an expert in that country. I have hunted it many times but never for myself. I spent a lot of time in there deer hunting though. You can PM me if you have any questions though.
