They can be hard to find, but the John Maus, Lone Wolf, "Banshee" recurve is a fine little bow. I had a 48#, 52" bow that was a very good shooter.

Shrew all the way for me.  I have a 54" recurve and 52" longbow and they shoot awesome!!

I have a 52" Wing Red Wing Hunter that I can shoot out of a portable blind. Smooth as any bow 60" long, fast and powerful

Try to find one.

I'm going to throw the 54" Howatt Hi-Speed into the ring. One of my favorites.
