Limb Skins & Bow Performance?
« on: August 15, 2009, 08:50:00 PM »
I'm going to try some camo limb skins (Alaska Bowhunting Supply)this season and I was questioning they're effect on arrow speed.

I don't have access to a chronograph and was wondering if someone may have checked them out.

Yes, I have shot my bow through a chrono with them off, with them on, and with them soaking wet. No speed difference at all.

Thanks for getting back to me Jason. I have also noticed the added advantage that they seem to reduce string  noise in my recurve.
