dynamic spine calulator question
« on: August 17, 2009, 09:48:00 AM »
In the dynamic spine calulator on the shaft selection can I substitue the Easton axis for the MFX classic?
It's not about the kill but the experience.

Yes, I think there might be a slight difference in grains per inch (gpi) but it would be minor.
you would probably be able to select the mfx and then input the gpi for the axis.
Or put in the diameter of them and then the correct gpi, bot should be the same diameter with minor variances.
You can go to easton/bemans website to get the correct outside diameters and gpi, or call them.
hope this helps,
sammy

yeah thanks Smallwood.  When I select "other" in the shaft section then input the gpi, diameter and spine it puts me in the negative for some reason.  I just put in the MFX classic and if the shop would have cut my arrow where I told 'em to I'd be within 0.1
