Recieved new longbow today
« on: August 17, 2009, 03:27:00 PM »
I bought a new longbow from a bowyer of e-b-a-y today. His e-b-a-y name is olddezertdawg. The name he has on his long bow is Red Mountain Archery. I bought a 55# @ 28 longbow. It is a hickory longbow backed with fiberglass.
Anyway I went and shoot about 100 arrows off of it today and I thought is shoot great. I was very impressed with the bow. It is a very simple bow. But I really liked it and look forward to hunting with it this season. The guy makes very nice and affordable wood arrows. Which I have bought 3 doz from him. And they are well made and fly good.

Hey man - no pichas, not post!!

One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action .... is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honor or observation
