AAE arrow straightner

I found an AAE arrow straightner at a pawn shop for 60 bucks the company wants about 190.00 for the unit. I had to contact AAE for the instructions and they sent me a pamphlet, but the instructions are very minimal at best. Has anyone used one of these and if so what kind of success did you have?
