Flint Ridge Knap-in
«

Hi All,
My buddy and I would like to learn how to knap flint arrow heads (and other blade forms), and are considering the Flint-Ridge Knap-in. However, when I look at the information on their site, and when I called the local number, "I can't get no satisfaction"!!! There's no reference to classes to teach someone how to knap, and the little lady I talked to didn't know one way or the other.
Anyone have an insight???

I have not been there in several years, In the past it jas been pretty informal as in no true classes. But there are plenty of people there knapping and most are more than happy to help you get started on a one on one basis! If you want to learn and are fairly close I would definatley go!

Adeeden,
I'm about three and a half hours from Flint Ridge, and have been checking it out for the past three or four years, but never have gotten there. Admission is $5 a carload, you can't hardly beat that!!
