I have an Osprey with a Bow Bolt that makes it a two piece takedown. I think it is about as fast as any trad bow, including some that sell on their reputation for speed. The Osprey is also relatively lightweight, very stable, smooth, accurate, and dead in my hand. I cannot say it is my absolute favorite bow, but it is very close, and it costs about half of many bows that it will easily equal in every way other than cost. I still contend that the Osprey is the best buy you can get in a reflex/deflex longbow, and that is why I would rate it #1 if I were doing a Consumers Guide comparison of traditional bows. The fact that Chad is also a very good guy and a TradGang sponsor is just a bonus. If I could only have one bow, was buying new, and could not spend more than $500, I would buy the Osprey #7 in the Sponsors' Classified Osprey sale. If I could spend $700, I would get a similar bow with a Bow Bolt -- which is basically what I have now. I also have a few dozen other bows -- but that is beside the point.
