I have a Bear Montana longbow and while shooting it the other day I noticed a slight bend in the limb, perhaps the last 6 " of one limb. The "bend" is to the side and I can see that the string does not track exactly straight down when the bow is strung.
To give you a mental picture of what I am talking about, say you hold your longbow in your left hand, straight out, then look down the limbs to the opposite end of the bow. you see that the other limb tip area (perhaps 6") is off to the right a bit. however, at present the bow shoots fine.
Question - Can this be fixed or is it to the point that I should send it back to Bear for them to straighten?
I'd appreciate any responses.
