I moved to Colorado from Maine for 6 months... 12 years ago!! It's not for everyone but I really like it here.

Brian, I think you'll really enjoy the variety of hunting opportunities here. In one year you can experience great hunts for whitetails, muleys, elk, antelope, bear, turkeys, coyotes, rabbits, and waterfowl - all on public land and all within two hours from Denver. Oh, and don't forget the trout fishing.

You can't fill multiple deer tags from Sept-Jan like out East, but if you like variety, you'll always have something to enjoy in the outdoors.

Denver traffic can be a pain, I go through it every day. I live on the South side of Denver but work on the North side.

The weather is fantastic, we go to our local outdoor 3D range at all times of the year. There is a fantastic population of trad guys around, and many great bowyers.

I lived in Wisconsin for seven years, and even though I really enjoyed the long deer season and the great turkey hunting (and the musky fishing), I couldn't wait to get home!

Check your PMs. Good luck!
