«

April 01, 2007, 05:54:00 PM »
Thanks to my friend Aeronut who sent me the slabs,
I was able to "make" my first knife:
Internet bought birdseye damascus blade, osage handle and macassar ebony pins
Thanks Dennis

Thanks David and Franck, next week when I'll have the handle oiled and the blade cleaned up I'll try to take better pictures.
I should have a good skinner/bird knife

Nice job Manny! Of all the different handle materials I've used on knives, I think osage is the best. It just keeps getting better with age...Doc

Thanks Shell
After a bit of research, I now need a piece of vegetable tanned leather to make the sheat.
If anyone knows where to find some here up North, just let me know
