Thanks everyone. I have been playing around with the recurve limbs a bit while I get ready to elk hunt. I usually prefer longbows but I'm really impressed and amazed at the smoothness and speed of the recurve limbs on this bow. I also need to give Kevin credit for some of the wood choices, he was kind enough to spend some time with me on the phone talking me through the pros and cons.
