Question on Arrow Master Quiver Top Cover
« on: September 09, 2009, 12:34:00 PM »
Rod, (or anyone else who may know), what are the specs on the long VS normal covers for the arrow master quiver?  Should the nocks be making contact with the cover to help keep the arrow stable inside the quiver?

Thanks in advance!

The long cover is 2 inches longer than the regular length. I ordered one from Rod because I was having just a bit of trouble getting arrows with broadheads out of the quiver with the regular cover. My total arrow length is 32 7/8" with broadheads
I think that you need the room up top to be able to lift the arrows out of the opening in the bottom.

House....the standard storm cover handles arrows up to 33"including broadheads. Some folks like a bit more room and opt for the 2" longer cover even with a 33" total arrow length.

The Storm cover isn't used for any other purpose other than keep fletching dry...the 1 1/2" of foam in the broadhead safety cup retains broadhead equipped arrows, making the rest of the quiver, pretty much a cover for arrow's.

Swampdrummer and Rod thank you for clearing that up.  It was as I figured, but wanted to be sure that I wasn't missing something.  One thing I like about taking the storm cover off is that when I'm shooting field points ALOT, it's nice to drop them in from the top to avoid "roughing" up the fletching from pushing the arrows up in there 100 or 200 times a day!

Absolutely love the quiver Rod, and thanks with the help on my shooting form in the other forum...things are going great!  Can't wait till Sept. 18th to chase the elk and mule deer around.
