Question about Grayling Bear wood "A" Handel Recurve

Hi everyone, I am still deciding if I should buy this T/D "A" Handle Recurve that is ending today on that "Auction Website". I would like to know if they are quiet when shot and if they stay together. You know...things like that. Look it up on that Auction Site in the keywords Bear T/D. Thanks!

I just purchased a used newer model A handle, and while it isn’t a speed demon it is stable. With some string silencers on it, it is quiet.

Just checked it out. It is one of the original Bear T/D from Grayling. These are more of a collector bows then shooters but you could use it. Limbs are white tip which is correct for that period...
 I personaly have and use 2 newer models of the "A" T/D and there are great bows.

4 hrs left in that auction.  I'd be very suprised if that bow goes for less than $1300-$1500.

Are these bows worth that much? I have one (I think it's the "B" Handle. About 50 #s. I'd be tickled pink to get 1200 for it.

I bought this one for under a thousand a few years back with Fred, Frank, Charlie's signatures.  Don't ever plan on shooting it though  :)

Nope. "B" risers are common. It's the Grayling "A"'s that raise the roof.

Well the handle values don't always make a lot of sense. C risers are the rarest yet the least valued.
