« on: September 12, 2009, 05:37:00 PM »
Looking at 2 different used bows. Which one would you pic? Their about the same price.

Brackenbury Drifter TD 62"  60# @ 28

Massie Model M TD      60"  51# @ 27

I am drawing 28".

Thanks for the help.

Both outstanding bows. The Massie would be around 54#'s @ your 28" draw length. I think if your new to Trad the Brack might be a little heavy for you.

There is roughly a 6# difference,I would pick the one that I most comfortable shooting. They are both good bows.If you shoot 60# go with the Brackenbury,it might feel smoother being 2" longer.

That's kinda what I was thinking bentpole. I've only been practicing with a Ben P. 45# @ 28. So 54# would be a big step up.
