Heading West!! Elk beware!!

OK guys and gals........

In just under 39 hours from NOW......I will be heading to Oregon to meet up with "elkherder" ane "wannabe1" for my much awaited elk hunt.

I figure 3 days to drive out ---- leaving a little time to admire scenery and take pics......then meet up with these characters and see if we can make some meat!!

I will be back, God willing, sometime on the 29th..........so be on the lookout for some pics and updates at least by the 30th.   Might take a day as I will be having to make up for missing my wedding Anniversary!!!     Good thing I have an understanding wife who loves venison!!!!

the elk are all over the place over there this year....huge trails everywhere pounded with elk and deer tracks....this area is good for a bull imo.......wooooohooooo
