That's one of those snortin', mean ol' cow-headed does!  Just as hard to get close to as any trophy buck.  Great job!  Show 'em how us mountaineers do it!

Thanks for all the good comments and congrats!

Now I will be preparing for the regular season opener on Oct. 17th. Setting stands, checking my cameras, etc.

Those big ole does get the utmost repsect from our group , we call em Logger heads.

When you are busted they blow snot all over the woods   :)  

I have one on my place that has a knot on her hind leg that is at least 7 years old. I haven't seen her this summer hope she made it.
