Ok, Here is what I have learned over the past year shoot AD woodgrain Trads... They can be bare shaft tested, however once they are fletched you can just about shoot any weight up front with little change.They do indeed have a small kick right out of the bow and it is noticable especially if you shoot a longer shaft as I do at 31.5". I have found that by raising my brace height just 3/16 corrected the kicking problem, and I can tell if my brace height falls 1/16 because they start kicking again.I have always trusted the bare shaft testing method and just didnt feel comfortable unless they fly out of the bow true. Therefore, I have stuck with a 125 grain point with the original insert with a total arrow weight of 550 grains. Seems to work for me for now.
