A bag target for field points. The morell yellow jacket is the only bh target I've had to make it thru an entire season.it gets shot by several shooters, compounds included.

Coachy, actually...they do last a long time. I've lost or broken arrows stumping, but never worn one out on my pile. Not sure about where you're at, but a pile of dirt works well here.

I've spent quite a bit of money on targets before (I've used every "block" type target that can be had) and when I was shooting 100 or so arrows a day especially broadheads, they didn't last long at all. I've got a few 3D's that I shoot at some but my pile of dirt works better than anything else I've used. If I was real picky I'd get a pile of sand, but I won't spend money on a commercial block target again, that's for sure.

I picked up a 3'x 3'x 8' block of styrofoam about 3 years ago for $30. It's big enough the nephews and their friends cant miss it too many times. We shoot broadheads at it regularly and it is so big that one spot doesn't get worn out. Also just turn it for a new surface.
