I started out woodies then went to carbons and discovered that I don't like them that much after shooting some Easton Legacy's. So, I am switching to aluminum as opposed to switching back.

I've shot aluminum arrows since 1967...also some cedar over the years. I love my aluminum arrows and see no need to change.

All it took for me is seeing one of those pictures with the splintered carbon arrow in someones thumb. Psycologically cant shoot one I keep dropping my bow arm to avoid the accident that may never happen. Guess I'll stick with aluminum.

I shot carbons for a while but there is somthing about them that I just can't get past so I went back to aluminum, there straight and farely inexpensive compared to carbons and alot easier to get and fly good to boot!! what more can I say!! Jason
