Kwyk-Styk

Day before leaving on a 10 day elk trip I get a call from Jack. He lets me know my new 56" Kwyk-Styk is finished and on the bus.Guess the new one will have to wait to draw first blood, as I have my 58" Styk all tuned up for this trip. Back from elk hunting and finally I get to put my hands on this gem. Mr. Kempf did not disappoint. And she shoots like she looks. With 2 sets of limbs I think my bowshopping days are over.[at least recurve wise] Anyway, I knew a few out there would appreciate a few pics so enjoy. Thanks Jack,a craftsman and a true gentleman. Mo.

I've never had the opportunity to shoot one much less own one. But, I know Curt "Guru" loves his and he makes them put the arrow where it counts time and time again. If he was only a righty I'm sure I'd have had my chance to shoot one... I'm not much of a recurve guy anymore, but the Kwyk Styk is on my list of bows to run through the mill.
Congrats on an awesome bow, Jack is a true artist and his bows are awesome shooters from what I hear.
Enjoy!

Thanks for all the comments.Sure turned out pretty. Wood combinations are Dymondwood and Zebra , maple and red phenolic accents. When I first talked to Jack I wanted Bocote but he said he had some fancy Zebra that he recommended .Sure glad I let him talk me into it.You really have to appreciate the funky lams on the limbs. I also had him inlay a Elk Ivory from my first traditional killed elk . Stats are 56" static limb, finger grooved riser, antler thumb rest,2 sets limbs,1- 56#@ 29"/ 2- 49#-29" Honestly guys if you ever get a chance to shoot a Kempf creation, do it. And you'll probably place an order. Thanks for looking Mo.

Great looking bow!
Jack's bow are absolutely second to none!
I guess I better stop sending people his way or he'll never have a chance to make another for me!
Seriously, I wish everyone could have a chance to shoot an Kwyk Styk. Only then could you really appreciate it all the good you hear about them.
