The View From My Ground Blind
«

In preparation for this season I went out a week ago and freshened up a natural ground blind I have on a small oak flat. I decided to set up my trail cam to see if the area was being used and this is one of the pics....
UNFORTUNATELY, this ia also one of the pics from the camera...

And dont let the dogs discourage you. If they are there a lot, the deer will be used to them and live around them. I hunt directly behind my house, and my Brittany takes it upon herself to "check" on me whenever she feels like it. She ends up leaving and the deer show up within minutes.

Actually, the dogs don't belong to the property owner. I'm going to show him the pics this weekend and hopefully he'll know who owns them .
I'll be hunting this spot opening weekend but then I'm off to Texas on the 20th with 2 buddies to chase some Texas whitetails for 6 days.
