Our daughter uses a 35# Hill for turkeys, my husband's friend has a son that shot a fawn, that is all he was allowed to shoot at, when he was young with a bow that was 26#s at 22 or 23 inch draw. The arrow was sticking out the other side of the fawn. You could try to shoot a chicken with some narrow broadheads just to see what you could get. The guys used to do a chicken hunt with the young ones for their first hunt. Unless your little one is really good with her bow the chances of hitting one are not that good, but it may be a bit light if you hit a quill or a wing bone.
