Anyone ever try 2 fletch?

I just watched a short video and the guy shooting on there was shooting 2 - 5" fletch. I tried it and wow! Not that it is that much difference performance wise and I did use parabolic. But I was amazed at how well they shot. And they were alot quieter than my typical set up of 3 - 5" shield cut. Does anyone have any experience with this or pros or cons that I have not thought about. Im always searching for ways to make the quietest bow you never heard.

talk to PatB. I have one of his arrows over my door in the game room to show it off.

Here are some of my two fletch. Some are Cherokee style(Eastern Woodland)and some are my version with my burn pattern.
These were last years hunting arrows...
...and these are this years hunting arrows. One Cherokee 2 fletch, one of my 2 fletch, a standard 3 fletch and a tangential 3 fletch. All fly very well with the stone points attached. The shafting on last years arrows is hill cane(Arundaneria appalaciana) and the shafting for this years arrows are one hill cane, one viburnum, one sourwood and one silky dogwood. This is my matched, mismatched set.

BrianO, Jim Neaves of Centaur Archery is a big fan of 2 fletch, and he's taken some nice animals!
I like to compare the fletch of an arrow to the tail of a kite, it doesn't really guide it, as much as it stablizes! Good shootin, steve
