I've almost bought one for myself a couple times but always see a bunch of them damaged in the stores when I look at them.  The ear flaps seem to get torn loose.

I bought one for each of my boys and they like them a lot.  They've held up too so I don't know what the deal is with the damaged ones in the stores.  I still prefer my Indiana Jones hat most of the time.  Keeps rain off better than any other hat I've tried and it's warm too.  I put a snap on the crown and one on the brim to snap it up out of the way.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I have two KOM railroaders, same style. Took them to a seamstress, had the bills cut down and re-sewn. Love em.

I have a Grey Wolf Kromer in Wolfskin cloth. It is warm and doesn't interfere with my bowstring.

Love the Kromer. Very warm, no problems with the bowstring.

Funny thing, I was leaving for work today and while walking to the car was thinking, boy it's chilly out, should get the Kromer to keep the balding noggin' warm.

I've got two...one for around town and a camo one for hunting. I love 'em. In real cold weather on stand I could use something that covers the ears a little better (so I wear a bomber hat. But for temps in the 30s and 40s they are great.

I see on the website  www.stormykromer.com  that they now have a brimless hat. Should solve any string problems.
