Made a Bowrack for a Friend
« on: October 14, 2009, 08:57:00 PM »
I made this bow rack for a friend, fellow New Yorker, and Tradganger. Thought you guys (and gals) might like to see it. Made completely from wood doweling and glue. My wife wouldn't let me use the feet for my rack so it went to my buddy Adirondacken. It suits him better than me anyway.

Sweet! I used to make gun racks out of deer feet. Never really though about a bow rack, Great Idea.

That rack packs plenty of Mojo. Beautiful wood & antique finish. The deer feet are perfect. Really well done.

Thanks everyone. I couldn't think of a better guy to make it for. You don't owe me anything Ken.The time you showed me and my boys last year was more than enough. I'm glad you're happy with it.

Cool!  That one foot looks like it's off a piebald deer.  There is some extra white splotching on it.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.
