Only a 50% chance of rain/snow here. The wind will supposedly be out of the North, making my new stand site PERFECT.

I saw a buck the other night(driving) that was one of the biggest I have seen around here. Even had a 3" kicker that was almost a drop tine.

Should be a good weekend for it.

Ron, Ya mean I'm not the only guy that hunts with a Mikuta???  ;)
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

Ron,  A friend of mine is bringing umbrellas to hunt under if it starts raining.  If  a Deer Sneezez on it, Now I cannot help that   :biglaugh:

I shot the bow tonight in low light conditions through my garden.  I didn't miss so that's a good sign.

High 39°
low 33°
60% Precip Chance Rain/Snow

Hopefully the rain will hold off if not may have to do some still hunting

I really won't mind if you get my Mikuta wet or bloody. Just have fun and learn from every trip afield.     Woodchucker ,once I changed the grip it became a pretty nice bow to shoot!

well one more day to go.

 I have 2 inches on the deck of wet snow. I see they are calling for snow showers over the weekend.

 I hope all get the deer of your dreams and please for you tree stand hunter  and also all hunt safe.

Same here Bill we got some nice snow too. First time weve had snow this early here since I was a kid. I wish our season still opened up on the 15th I bet the deer are going nuts right now.

Wont be long now fellas. I got everything packed shot my bows tonight everything is ready so hopefully I will be if I get a shot. Good luck to everyone and please share photos.
