Congratulations! I had an almost identical experience last year, but it was closer to 39 years for me. That one was more exciting than the trophies I took with the wheel bow by a long shot.

You're right on! I've taken some decent deer with bow and firearms and it just didn't excite me that much anymore. I had quit bowhunting and the only hunting I did was with a handgun or flintlock.
When I started back with a traditional bow it made it fun again. I just love to watch that arrow fly!
You guys and gals know just what I'm trying to say. You've all been there.
Thanks for sharing in my journey.
