I was there last night but some family obligation sprevented me from hunting today.  Last night was great with some bowmaking, arrowmaking, conversation and overall good fellowship.  There were ten or so overnighters.  I think several were coming for the day.
Take a kid hunting!

Okay, I got the cobwebs out of my head...well I'm here...

Went outback and shot at target balls and a feed sack filled box, hedge apples and leafs...around 1100, we all headed out for some brush bustin', weed stompin' and generally good laughs...

Saw a few rabbits and took a few shots, headed back toward the cabin - stumpin' the whole way - just don't challenge Declan, that 7 year old can shoot!!!

We talked, strolled, shot and hooted and hollered. Got back to the cabin for Maria's chilli and Joe's wife "J"(don't wanna misspell) had brought some tasty chill in as well.

Then, it was back outside for more "stumpin" and laffs. We just kinda flowed in and out of the building; working on this or that arrow or bow.

We talked about maybe moving the date a week or two behind K'zoo (thoughts or ideas welcome).

About 5 Saturday we started the clean up and by 6 all were on the roads home.

Not a large number, but a good group and lots of fun had. Sorry that some of you could not join us this year, but understand.

We will be planning to do it again for 2011...any and all are Welcome to join what has become a stumpin',tinkering, informal bunny romp, and good time!

Good times with good people!! Next year we are kicking around making it a 3 day event. Thinking of having a bow bee with a rabbit hunt thrown in???? Seems like most people want to work on equipment ect....

If ANYONE has any ideas please tell us as that's the only way we can make this event better
