Hog hunting locations??
« on: January 06, 2007, 11:39:00 AM »
Hog hunting looks like a heck of a lot of fun so Me, my dad and possible a wheel bow friend are looking to try it out sometime over the next few months. I've found several places online but would appreciate any trad input or recommendations. We're in NY so anything within a 10 or so hour drive is fine. It dosen't have to be a big fancy place but we would prefer if it wasn't a fenced in deal.

                          Thanks in advance, Chris

PA has several locations, pick up a copy of New York outdoor news there in there.

South Carolina has alot of good PUBLIC LAND,pack a lunch and get down in the bottoms with the wind in your face.  Loads of fun hunting this way, wear good boots as it take some waliking to find hogs sometimes but the rewards are so sweet.

Spot and stalk hogs are hard to beat.  Check out the article I posted about one in TX.
