Here is the scoop. I shoot magnus stingers and they are great.  After each shoot I always replace the bleeder blade with a new one.

The problem is my entry hole on deer and on the organs there is an clear 4 blade hole, but on the exit hole there is only a slit like I was using a 2 blade head.

I have a KME sharpener but the stinger bleeder blades are to small to use with a KME.  Am I the only one with this issue?  So my question is, how do I resolve this?  How do I get an edge on Stinger bleeder blades?

Onestringer,do you have the broadhead or knifesharpener KME?I'm not that familiar with the knife sharpener kit but the broadhead kit come with a clamp for doing bleeders and I can get my Stinger bleeders razor sharp with it.

I noticed that on my deer this year too but I didn't think twice about it until now.  I don't know if it was an issue, it dropped 40yds from me.  It will be intresting at the responses

I clamp them in a small set of vice grips and sharpen them with an accusharp. Then I strop them on an old leather belt with some polishing compound I bought at Woodcraft.

I don't know about the KME (never used one) but my Lansky works fine for bleeders.  I've sharpened Bear and Magnus bleeders with it and it only takes a couple of minutes.

They must be bending or breaking off as they pass through. Never had a problem with them.
