The stuff works!  I picked up this recipe about 9 years ago off of Bowsite from a guy that swore he had just left one of the companies that produced "scent kill" spray and said this was the recipe they marketed. TJ and I have been hooked on it since.  Easy and inexpensive, which is right in line w/ severity of TJ's cheapness.

If you don't believe and want to put this stuff thru the test spray down your dog that has been in a frey w/ a skunk.  It will remove the smell w/out any problems.  I've done this more times than I'd like, but my family would be heartbroken if the Shorthair couldn't sleep in the house at night...  :banghead:

Thanks for the trick lowe.We dont have a dog right now but were waiting for one next spring,it'll be a puppy french spaniel (good family dog) that will later point to me the game bird I'll have to it with my judo!! If one day a skunk shoot her stuff at my dog it'll be useful! Thanks again.

Just askin,,,how did you come up with the recipe?  was it just common sense ( this will deodorize and this will absorb odor) sounds like youve done good, if the deer didnt smell you even that close, and your success is always that good, way to go, good thankin, it's awful good of you to share this with everybody.   I mite try this, aint got nothin to lose.
SORRY, just noticed the rest of the thread.  I bet the deers buddies all talk about him behind his back,  "Did ya hear about Bucky? No what is it?   He said he saw aliens in the woods the other night, and now he keeps watchin the night sky.  Poor bucky,,,he's lost it aint he.
It's a twang thang, some people git it, some people dont.
