Getting the call vs. killing a deer?
« on: October 29, 2009, 10:57:00 PM »
Well what's better in your mind, getting a call from your bowyer telling you your bow is done or killing a deer while waiting for it to be finished??   :p

Oh baby, John MacDonald happened to call this afternoon while I was on my lunch break from hunting telling me my Bow is done and it turned out a beauty! This is my first bow I ever ordered and I can't wait to get my greasy paws on it! I was going to drive over and pick it up but gotta work tomorrow so I told him to ship it! Should be here by the weekend!    :archer:

Joe,
I would also like to see pictures of your new McDonald bow when it arrives. I believe they are one of the best longbows out there. I own four of John's bows and can't say enough about them. God bless, Scott.

I have met John before, andn he is a good one, and his one piece recurves aren't bad either...

Shot one two years ago, wish I would have picked up.

Shane I'm talking about John MacDonald of Big River Longbows. He doesn't make the MOAB.

Enjoy your new bow, Joe. I had one and it was a shooter.

I hope he has my bow done he called me earlier in the week and said it would be done by today. I think I would pick killing a buck but it would have to be a really big one.

Yeah don't you hate that wait ? I ordered my new Morrison just a little over a month ago 9/23/2009 and the Fedex man was in my driveway today . Bob said he was going to start it the next day,I thought he was kidding me . It sure is a beauty I just wish I could string it up to try it out.  :notworthy:
