Membrane Feather Splice
« on: October 30, 2009, 01:16:00 PM »
I wrote a quick feather splicing tutorial on RMSGear.com. There are too many pictures to post here and too much text but I will throw a few pictures up so that you can easily see the method that I am using.

It is a membrane splice but I don't use a dremel tool or have to sand anything. As far as membrane splices go, I prefer this method the most.

I have used the butt splice method, but to get it to look really good it seems like more work than what I'm doing here.

You can see through the pictures what I am doing. But if you want to see the whole tutorial    click here .

Great job, Tommy! Those feathers look like they grew that way.

Say hi to your dad for me.
