The highs and lows of archery!!!
« on: November 04, 2009, 11:20:00 AM »

I was shooting my usual 12-18 arrows this morning. Just keeping the rust off for the late season. The 3rd arrow hit the X.   :knothead:  I thought "well that arrow is safe!"....the next arrow proved me wrong. Dead center hit!   :clapper:
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Isn't it bitter sweet. You nail a really small spot and your excited but you also lost a beautiful arrow. So bitter sweet. It's a shame they all can last. Good shootin.

I hate when that happens. It's expensive.

Great thing about wood over carbon on this. Just glue up, put a new nock on and shoot some more.
Too pretty of an arrow not to! Good shootin, Steve

Les, good penetration on that carbon! You had some major force behind that!

TW, I think I'll keep this bow. It's not good enough to pawn off on you anyway...it only does this once in a great while!  :D

Steve, I don't know if I could feel comfortable about shooting an arrow that was glued back together...? I think I'll just keep it as a sign of my lucky shots!

Gator, I like that way of thinking. Got to get back to making some more arras!

I saved the first one, then just got the good one out of the back end and threw the messed up one away on the others I have had.

Congrats, Robin,

Bisch
