Let the hunt begin...in earnest!
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:48:00 AM »
I've been like a kid on Christmas eve all night last night. It couldn't have been much past 8:30 when I went to bed and I started waking up at 1:17am. I made myself stay in bed until 3 am...lol

To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I just waiting for Butches call to come letting me know he's on the road headed this way.

We have planned for this weeks hunt for some time now. I'm hoping we get into the woods early and wait to set camp later in the day. My Double Bull blind has been set up for a couple of weeks so the deer will have made their adjustment to it.(I hope!!)

We have this week to get in "primo" hunt time as the gunslingers will have their say starting Sat. the 14th.

You can expect a report but not for awhile. I doubt there are more than a couple of spots on "the farm" that we'll even have a phone signal.

Thanks for reading!
God bless, Mudd

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Good luck.

Reminds me of the old days back in Michigan.
