Knives from circular saw blades
« on: April 08, 2007, 10:59:00 AM »
What do I need to know to make a good knife from a 7 1/4 or 10 inch saw blade? Does it have to be heat treated after shaping? Help!

I did no heat treating on this one. I cut it and ground it slowly, careful no to get it hot. It was hard to put an edge on it, but it holds an edge very well.
