HARD CASE FOR TRAD BOWS
« on: November 10, 2009, 02:46:00 PM »
was wondering if anyone knows of a hard case specifically made for traditional bows strung or unstrung thats deep enough that you dint have to take the quiver and arrows off. in my state if your traveling on the water to get to a hunting area your bow has to be in a closed case. its a pain having to take a strap on quiver off and on everytime.

                                 thanks, jim

If it doesn't have to be a hard case, I just bought a Vista strung-unstrung with quiver attached that is very nice.

3 rivers makes a hard case that is 6" in diameter. Might do the trick.

If you can go with a soft case, I just saw this Kathy Kelly case on another site.

If it doesnt have to be a hard case then you can get a soft case for strung bows. I have a padded strung case from shooting star that was relatively inexpensive.  I leave my quiver on the bow (arrows removed) and leave the bow strung and it fits in the padded case.

I really want a hard case too and I'm trying to find a black powder gun case. Those black powder guns are long and a double gun case might fit a strung bow. We will see. The only problem is that they are expensive.

i use a 4" pvc pipe cut to lenght you need, then glue a cap on one end with a peice of foam in the bottom of it, leave the other cap loose to take on and off.you can wrap it with camo material or what ever you want to make it look the way you want
