2 Ben Pearson Deadheads
« on: November 10, 2009, 11:25:00 PM »
2 Deadheads were given to me by a friend and I was bound and determined to use them. First was on my first bow turkey that I posted earlier and tonight the second one did its job!
view to my stand from where the deer was quartering away

first half of arrow at 3 yards from shot, second half at about 20 yards and the result at about 45 yards.

they make a heck of a hole!

or should I say two holes it was a double lung pass thru.

Here's a pic from the turkey earlier 12 yard shot.

Excellent!  You better find some more Deadheads.

Sweet huntin, David! I shot a doe with a Deadhead last month, she went about 50 yds. But I wasn't sold on the bloodtrail.

So I'm hoping for another shot!

Good shootin, and get another one! Steve

Well done Mooseman! I love those Deadheads...great design, great steel leaves big hatchet holes.

Typically, my blood trails with a Deadhead look like you opened up a can soup like mooseman's above...
