Takedown recurve for shorter draw
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:52:00 PM »
Who makes a takedown recurve that, by design, might favor a shorter drawlength (26").  By favor, I mean due to shorter limbs or a particular limb design might optimize performance for the drawlength impaired. Thanks.

The Toelke Chinook works well for shorter draws and can be had in the bow bolt take down I do believe.

A good design is good at all draw lengths.I shoot a Habu Vyperkahn @ 27'' draw, that's 60'' w/ a 8 1/4'' brace and will shoot w/ the fastest of the fastest and alot more foregiving.
I've been on that short bow or specail short drawlength bow design wagon also.Spent a ton of money on bows and always come back to my Habu's.$.02
