VPA 3 blade suppose to be 1 1/8 ???
« on: November 16, 2009, 10:29:00 PM »
Got my VPA Terminators in the mail today, 200gr screw-in. Love them but when I measured the width they were slightly under 1". Thought they were suppose to be 1 1/8". Anyone else found this to be the case?

How are you measuring them?

It's about the cut, not the diameter.

These are made from 1-1/8" bar stock. The cutting diameter is 1-1/8". The reason you are getting  a smaller measurement across two blades is because on a 3 blade broadhead, the blades are 120 degrees appart and not streight accross from each other like a 2 blade broadhead, but yes they are 1-1/8" diameter.
