Bowhuntin' Back Pack by Roughcountry
« on: November 18, 2009, 11:56:00 AM »
Well, it's not exactly for my back  :)   When I was elk hunting with Doug, I thought his saddle bags with his knife brand/logo were really cool!  Just so happens I was able to twist Robin's arm enough to make a set up for me.  Now if I can just get my horse Hogan to stand still long enough to shoot my bow off him, I'll be all set  :)

They are so great looking...nobody notices how poor a ride I am    Even hogan thinks they're neat.

Thanks Robin...Doc

Jeff very nice bags and equip. My brother-in-law had a horse he hunted sqs. off of and the hardest part was to teach the horse to hold his breadth when he was shooting especially after he had ran after one on the ground for a while..Good luck on yours.Kip

Robin is one fine guy! He does the best leather work I've ever seen. He's got some neat old tools around his shop that are quite old. You are a lucky man Doc! That's some nice bags! CK

Looks like we matched the back of your cantle pretty good Doc. Good looking outfit and pony.
I forgot to tell you, the little dees on the back are to use a little loop for your tugs to go thru when you and Hogan run buffalo. It holds the bags down from flappin up and hittin yer bow.  :)

Don't split Hogans ear with a arrow  :D
I plan on trying to grouse hunt horseback the next few years. Got a colt that I think will put up with me flinging arrows off his back.

Hey CK  :wavey:
