Hi,
i got a thunderhorn boa bow quiver, but now my 5/16 carbon ahafts dont fit inside the holding, they are too skinny. is there a replacement with smaller slots or does someone have a good idea for a selfmade solution?
Thanks

Guten Tag. I didn't think bowhunting was legal in Germany? I had a GF over there for awhile and I was always led to believe hunting in general was hard to do in Germany. Lots of hoops to jump through, etc.
Anyways, I have a Thunderhorn BOA and yes the rubber grippers are too small for the skinnier carbon arrows. There are 2 things you can do to remedy the situation as follows:
1) Do what I did. Take a hex screwdriver or allen bit and loosen the nut on the lower assembly of the quiver and tilt or cant the assembly so that the lower assembly is off center/canted. Then tighten the nut once youve got an angle that works for your diamter arrows. Canting the lower assembly will put force on the arrows and keeps them very snug. Do this procedure w/ the quiver OFF the bow as to not torque your limbs.
OR
2) Leave the lower assembly as is and buy the snuggers from Thunderhorn. I have not used the snuggers but its seems they'd work well. They snuggers are inexpensive.
Good luck!

You can get these thick like rubber bands from Thunderhorn they use to grab the skinny Axis type arrows. My buddy got some of these from them, they fit around the grippers for skinny arrows.

thanks,
fidhnnut,
you are right, bowhunting is banned in Germany. for rifle hunting you have to pass a expensive exam and courses before and there is no such thing is stateproperty. but its not so hard to do. but bowhunting, no way! but there are surrounding countries where it works.
