Name on bow: sure wish...

I got one with my name mis-spelled on it! (seriously) And I wouldn't change a thing about it! Anyway someones name on there doesn't bother me in the least and I will always have my name put on any new ones I order (hopefully spelled correctly)!

To me it's like not kissing a pretty girl just because her last boyfriend kissed her first.  Just think of all the fun you'd be missing!  In fact some things get more interesting with a little experience.

Been married quite a good while now and thankful that I figured out which one was for me ... and she wasn't brand-new when I got her.  Glad I didn't cull her over a college sweetheart.  What was we talking about?  Oh yeah, bows!  Well ... same point.

I am not sure who said they all have a famous archers name on them.  I don't care who's name on the bow.  It just doesn't bother me.  Like it was said before, it would be like not kissing a girl..........   I would have missed out on a lot of fun and good memories if I worked that way.  The name on the bow is part of the bows history, and for me it makes them that much cooler to have in hand.

Bothers me a bunch! I would never buy a bow with someone elses name on it.  But, if I absolutely had to have the bow, the name would be off in a pair of skinny seconds. Heck, I have three very high end bows which were made to my specs and I didn't even put my own name on them. Putting your name on a bow to me is like tatooing your girlfriend's name on your arm... not a good idea for a number of reasons. On a more philosophical lever, we don't own any of our stuff, it's just on loan to us while we are here.

I'd be less weird about buying a bow with someone else's name on it than I would be selling one with mine.  It's like selling a book that has been autographed to you.  I found a Patrick McManus book at a Half Price bookstore that had been autographed to someone else and bought it, but who the heck would sell it?

Same with bows.  :-)
