L/H Bear T/D, is it a myth?
« on: November 19, 2009, 11:50:00 PM »
Hard as I try I just can't find one of these darn things. I could understand the originals being hard to get, but all I'm looking for is a gainsville greenstripe (at least for now anyway!)   :banghead:
Guess I should just stop whining

Yep, their out there, but they only come up on **** veeerrry rarely. And when they do, they go for a premium price. Keep searching, it may take you a while.

I dont think he wants to get rid of it, we have been talking for quite a while about these since we are both lefthanded and looking for versions of them. He also knows I want one for the Oregon Elk hunt next year, and hasn't offered, maybe he wants more than he knows I can pay?

Just giving you confirmation that some were made.    :)

Not a lot of them though considering the number of left handed folks to right handed.

Well guys I looked very bad on the last year for those handles, and in one full year I found 4 of them. One was on the +++++one here in Italy brand new,I payed a small fortune for it,another one was in Australia and some Tradgangers gave me the link, the really first I found was from a member here.I payed from 800$ down to 250$.So Albert if you are patiece you'll find it.If I were in the USA I could send one of mine to use,but the shipping price is going to kill me.I'll keep a eye open for you.Sure the other TGers will do the same, good comunity here.Felix

Vermonster- Thanks, I figured Fred being lefthanded and all there might be afew more out there.
Felix- I know you would do that, but I wouldn't expect it and surely wouldn't accept the offer, they are obivously too rare to take the chance it might break while I had it! You have been a big help and a great friend!

I know it will take time and I should be more patient, I just get frustrated that everything lefty either is harder to get or more expensive, or both. I unfourtunately am not one of those that can pull off switch shooting.   :knothead:

doug77- What the heck is going on? you are in good company, In the last month there have been like 3 good guys on here that have had this happen. I thought the recession was supposed to be over. What about all these jobs that were supposedly saved by the stimulus? What a joke. Hang in there bud, keep me posted if you decide to get rid of it.

I have a couple of Mag lefties that I don't use to much if you get tired of looking. I have a B and the very rare A. In the recent past I've been stingy with them but I guess I could live without them.
