Favorite stick ladder??????

Are you talking about climbing sticks? If so, I wait until the end of the season and buy the kind that Dick's carries. They will have a box of four at a clearance price around $30.

Ya I do the same.  End of the year I get what is on sale around town.   I do like the tie on better than the strap type because I find the ropes and straps they come with to be to short for some of the trees I like to hunt.  I take off the rope they come with and put on longer ones.

I bought a 20' stick from Gander Mountain,(4) 5' sections, $53.Steps on both sides all the way up so you don't have to stand on one leg hanging your stand.They shipped it free,it weighed 28# boxed up.I ordered on a Wednesday night and they arrived on Friday.

I don't like the sticks that join together and form a single long stick much at all.  I prefer something like the Rapid Rails of which I own two sets of and use them a lot.  I got mine at Dicks last year and like Tom said, they were on clearance for about $30 or $40.  They are the steel ones though so they are heavier than the aluminum ones but super strong.  Set up is quick and easy too.

I've also been looking at the Muddy Outdoors line of climbing sticks.  They are similar to lone wolf's but have double steps instead of singles.  Each piece is a little shorter but the Muddy set has one more piece so final the height is about the same.  I've heard nothing but good about them except for from people who have the lone wolf sticks and are loyal to their brand.  Sort of a Ford vs Chevy thing.

Those Muddy Outdoors sticks look nice. I am using Summit Buck Steps and really like them.

I have used LW sticks also they work great.

That's exactly what I bought last Saturday at Gander Mt. in Bowling Green, KY. Haven't used them yet but they seem like they'll be great. That was my first trip down there. Pretty cool place.

Have been using the Comfort Zone Sticks from Dicks. I got 16' for $25 when they were on sale and using a coupon I had.

I have a set of climbing sticks by Gorilla, that are like the one's Lone Wolf offers.  Got them at Dicks pretty cheap.  (Bought two sets)  They work OK.  But, you have to make several trips up and down the tree hanging them, if you don't have someone on the ground tieing them off for you to pull up.  Also, I find it hard to get them tight enough where they don't shift or pull away a little from the tree when you climb..I use ratchet straps on the high ones.  It gets my attention when they shift...I have one of those put together climbing sticks and it's more secure.

I,m cheap LOL a 20' length of 3/4 conduit makes a 3pc 15' ladder.I don't really like getting higher than that anyway and set my stands around 13'

I like the Summit sticks because the steps are enclosed. Feels safer.

I like the Buck Steps.  They have a long strap for big trees and they are solid as a rock when you put them up. They are a little pricey though.

I hate the Lone Wolf type .... I have Summit's and they're easy, solid and very fine to use IMO. I have some lesser Wal-Mart type too that are not as good as Summit, but still better than screw in steps

I've used a few different types before I found the ones that work best for me, the Lone Wolf sticks. I like the way they can go in any tree no matter what the angle of the tree or different branches on the gnarly trees I like to use for the cover, very important to me as all I use is a hang on stand(Lone Wolf).

I get mine from  Bob at Denton Hill. He's from Ohio and he's there every year. They're 15' and they're the tie on ones which I think are much more secure than any strap-on.
